I had a wonderful trip with Grace to Murchison Falls in November. The safari exceeded my expectations in every dimension. Grace is very reliable and professional at all times. Everything worked perfectly and she went the extra mile in terms of service and making my trip enjoyable. I booked the trip as a solo traveler and was unsure what to expect as it was my first time in Africa. I was in Kampala for work and I only had three days to visit. She organized the perfect trip matching my schedule, and the trip exceeded completely all the hopes I had. I saw rhinos, elephants, leopards, hippos, many lions, giraffes, vultures..... I even had a hike with a park ranger through the savannah on my last day. If what you are searching for is a local, no-mass tourism, and reliable tour operator, Gracelands safari is the choice.

I contacted Grace very shortly before my trip. Honestly I also reached out to some other tour guides/companies. But Grace was the most helpful and responsive, so there is no reason to go for anyone else. After I reached, the driver and tour guide were way more welcoming than expected. Service was great, therefore I tipped both of them, though they never asked or mentioned. I've been to 70 countries and seen quite a few tour guides. This is the first I wrote a review, simply because this company and team are one of the best!

I had a short stay in Kampala and was having a hard time sorting through a lot of the 'noise' online for options and companies to work with. Gracelands African Vacations was an amazing find. Grace is a wonderful host and guide and everything went smoothly without any issues. Her responsiveness was quick and full of information and she could answer any questions. Her passion for Uganda and tourism is evident, as is her knowledge of the area, history and wildlife.

First of all I would like to point out what for an exceptional travel destination Uganda is. If you are considering to visit Africa, you should defintely put Uganda on your agenda. Choose Gracelands and you will for sure see the country at its best.We went for a one week trip with Grace and Ben and had one of the best experiences ever. They worked out an individual itinerary for us which suited our wishes and expectations. The communication before the booking was very smooth and Grace always replied very fast and could answer every possible question we had. We went on for a one week safari travelling from Kampala to Kibale, Queens and Lake Mburo, which I would 100 % recommend. If you have more time I would also recommend to also visit Bwindi for Gorilla trekking. With Grace and Ben we had exceptional guides with a fantastic knowledge about the nationalparks, animals (especially birds) and Uganda. Furthermore they always look out for you and are making sure that you feel comfortable. Lastly, Grace and Ben were not only exceptional tour guides but also great people to travel with. Ben and Grace, thanks again for this fanstastic time and I hope to go with you on a trip in the near future again!

 She was so knowledgeable and fun and super flexible so she catered the tour to exactly what I wanted and what I was interested in. Even though I had been to Kampala before she took me around to so many cool parts that I hadn't seen and that were all really interesting! She answered all my questions and gave lots of tips about other things to do in Uganda and had me try all kinds of fun foods and drinks. She also made sure the tour was really safe and comfortable! The next day she also coordinated a trip to Ngamba Island to see the chimp sanctuary which was so fun and helped us to get to the airport. Principles of sustainable ecotourism are really important to her and it shows in how knowledgeable she is about the biodiversity in Uganda and how concious she is about all of her tours and the environment. I really hope to go back to Uganda soon and do more tours with her to national parks, which she also offers beyond the city tour. I am so glad I was able to spend the day with her, it was one of the highlights of my trip!

Grace was accommodating to our budget and tailored the trip to exactly what we wanted.
Our trip started at Queen Elizabeth Park where we went on a few game drives and a lovely boy ride along the Kaziwa channel. Our driver & guides were lovely.After Queen Elizabeth we went gorilla trekking in the Bwindi Forrest which was a once in a life time experience.
Our trip was smoothly run and stress free. They thought of everything! Thank you for a trip full of memories!
